Sounds like they really need you. Like what prasnlrd recommended. Cup a tea with your feet up helps also.
Take care and hope tonight is slower.

Hey Jamie!
I am so sorry you had such a rough session at work, but I want to let you know that I am sure your patients (& their families) appreciate you very much!!!
Just got back from a 2 hour trip (one way) to MA to pick up my 14 yr old son from an ER. . .he had a snowboarding accident. . .has a concussion. . .will be fine. . .I am so thankful that I could bring him home in one piece!!!!
I am so thankful for the care he got up in Great Barrington and although you may not always hear it, you guys do a great job!!!!!
Thank you!!! (I will be sending the ER staff a note of appreciation)
Sandy

Been there, done that. My last full time job was two years ago, working in plastics factory. I was stressed out to the point I cried when I went to sleep and when I woke up again in the morning, not to mention throwing up all day. So after six months I quit with a nice nest egg in the bank that I used to start a business. The past two years have been rough on and off, but it's more important to me to have my mental health and happiness. If you are truly miserable in a job, sometimes a change can make all the difference in the world.
